Double U ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our virtual try-on platform.

Our core principle: We do not permanently store your photos. Uploaded images are temporarily processed by our AI partner and automatically deleted approximately one hour after upload.

2. AI Image Processing and Face Data

When you upload a photo to use the Virtual Try-On or Digital Wardrobe features, the image may contain your face. These images are used solely to generate virtual outfit previews requested by you.

We do not collect, analyze, or store biometric identifiers such as facial geometry, facial recognition data, or faceprints. We do not use face data for identification, authentication, profiling, or advertising purposes.

Uploaded images are securely transmitted using encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) to our third-party AI image processing provider, solely for generating virtual try-on results.

Therefore, we do not permanently store face data on our own servers.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Images you upload for Virtual Try-On or Digital Wardrobe features
  • Account information (email address, username)

We collect this information directly from you when you use the app and automatically through normal app operation only for app functionality.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide Virtual Try-On and Digital Wardrobe features
  • Generate AI-powered outfit previews
  • Maintain and improve app functionality
  • Respond to user support inquiries

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How We Process Your Photos

When you use the virtual try-on feature, the following happens:

  1. You upload a photo from your device
  2. The photo is sent to our server via encrypted SSL/TLS connection
  3. Our server forwards the photo to our AI processing partner
  4. The AI generates the try-on result image
  5. The result is returned to your browser
  6. The uploaded image is automatically deleted approximately one hour after upload

At no point is your photo written to permanent storage on our servers.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 AI Processing Partner

We use a third-party AI service called Fitroom for virtual try-on image processing. Uploaded images are securely transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption. Images are only temporarily stored for processing and automatically deleted approximately one hour after upload.

6.2 MongoDB (Database)

We use MongoDB for storing brand and product data. Consumer photos are never stored in MongoDB.

6.3 Vercel (Hosting)

Our app (server-side) is hosted on Vercel. Standard web server logs may be collected by Vercel in accordance with their privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

  • Photos: Automatically deleted by our AI processing partner approximately one hour after upload. Not stored on our servers.
  • Try-on results: Displayed in your browser only. Not stored on our servers.
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon request.

8. Your Rights (PDPA Compliance)

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain types of data processing

Since we do not permanently store consumer photos, there is no photo data to access, correct, or delete. For account holders, contact us to exercise any of these rights.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmission uses SSL/TLS encryption
  • API keys are stored server-side and never exposed to clients
  • No consumer photo data is written to permanent storage on our servers
  • Accounts are protected by authentication

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
